Felt like we were seriously in for both, so which do you think would have worked out best?

And any others we were in for recently that slipped away that you're gutted about?

Palmer is the better player all round, is Chelseas best player and is worth the most.

But I reckon the physicality and type of goal scoring MF Kudus is, is what we're missing more in our squad.

I swear the only place I ever saw Palmer being linked with us was on here

Was Palmer not going to be a loan. As a sale not sure we had much chance.

So I’d say Kudus

Basically yeah. Palmer was supposed to be very keen for the loan but we weren’t prepared to pay the fee Chelsea were going to.

City always planned to get that pure FFP profit from Palmer then get Doku in to fill his spot in the squad, and Chelsea were all too happy to facilitate it.

Don’t think it would have mattered either way, they would have been inevitably injured at some point, probably all season, knowing our luck.
