Really don't think they're that good. Thursday was a good night for them and a bad night for us. I think they're beatable on Thursday but the margin might be to big overall.

The Europa tie is almost certainly definitely done, I would just love a goal from us inside 20 minutes to give that glimmer of hope & make things exciting.

They will be in total shithousing mode from the first whistle on Thursday. We saw it the other night when they started collapsing with mystery facial injuries every thirty seconds towards the end, and the weak French referee generally fell for it. They know referees have to stop games for head injuries, so they clutch their faces and slow it all down. Given the VAR checks, goals, multiple subs and lengthy goal celebrations, it was astounding that Monsieur le Ref only allowed five minutes at the end (though may also have done us a favour).

Yeh, I thought it was hilarious that todays second half summoned 6 minutes of extra time out of thin air whereas there should have been 5 minutes of added on time for their time wasting from 80 minutes onwards ALONE on Thursday evening. 5 minutes was a comical amount to give for how little the ball was in play in the second half really. The European refs have been pretty unanimously shite though.

This, but it's so unlikely. I'm still pretty gutted we're going into our first ever knockout game at the Amex all but completely out of it tbh - even at 2 down we were saying if we can keep it at this then it'll still be exciting going into the home tie. 3, then 4... not so much
