I guess the BBC are not that eager to report on British supporters damaging the stadium's surroundings and the city centre, shops, and attacking people when they come to Rome for football or rugby... no, they only report font-size-80 headlines when a Brit has a bruise in Rome.

Did we do a lot of damage on Thursday then ? Genuinely didn’t see any from Tuesday morning through to Friday morning - either inside or outside the ground or anywhere else in the city, nor see or hear of any locals attacked. Pop back on here next Friday and tell us how you were treated in Brighton and at the Amex. I doubt Roma will feel the need to issue you all with specific warnings about the likelihood of violence or robbery, and making your own way to the stadium (if your reputation allows this to happen) will be perfectly safe - you won’t be told to avoid certain areas and won’t need police protection

Let's do this: Next time ANY English football team plays in Rome, or next time there's a rugby game involving England, I'll invite you to my neighbour (which is 20 min away from the stadium). And you'll see the ANGELIC reputation English supporters have. But I guess the BBC doesn't report on the destroyed shops, and on people being attacked by some drunk idiot.
