I'm a fan. But I'm not driving a 200 mile round trip and spending £40 on petrol and getting home after midnight when I have work the next day for a dead rubber. But if others think I'm not a fan, that's fine. I'd rather have that money and time thank you very much. And enjoy your opinions.
Fair play fella. That's my opinion. I'm going but I'll be home 45 mins after the final whistle or final lap of honour, and appreciate that you wouldn't and that's fine by me.

I'm sorry for your loss in Rome, but NEVER give up. (As usual) I take inspiration from Fulham. We were 3-1 down after the first leg at Juventus in 2010, then turned the Cottage into a cauldron (without clappers) for the return leg and despite going behind early (1-4), ended up winning 5-4 on aggregate with a sublime Clint Dempsey chip near the end. Juve had 2 players sent off.

YOU CAN DO IT!

I have the same problem. I've been once in four years. The bizarre thing being I watched Albion home and away all through the mediocre and downright awful years but have seen next to none of the greatest live !
How do you think I felt 🤣

I remember being given a free ticket as a school kid for Man Utd v Porto in the 70s after a 4-0 1st leg win for the Portuguese. 2nd leg ended 5-2. Can still remember the atmosphere to this day.

Looking forward to a zero pressure home game, where I hope the boys put on a show for us.

It will be our last European game for a while and I'm going to enjoy it

For me, it's going to mean taking my boy straight out from school, 3 hours to get there, undoubtedly chaos getting out, then getting back at 1am ahead of school and work the next day, for what is a dead rubber.

After being served up yet another shit sandwich of a performance, it doesn't sound particularly appealing right now.

I’m going because a) it’s my team b) they deserve applause for the campaign even if has ended b) I’m not so rich I can just Chuck £50 away!

Please everyone, make the effort. Or really do feck off and support Chelsea instead - show your true colours!!

You haven't seen us play recently.

Oh wait YOU have - what on earth are you smoking :smokin:

Fed up with trains. Sick of the rain.
Damn right I'm going. Putting ten quid on an Albion progressing and Scotland winning the Triple Crown next Saturday double.

Whilst hoping St Jude* is watching over us.

This, this, THIS!

I am totally f***ed off tonight, but there is no way I'm missing out on our last European game for a long time.

It's been a blast.
If Solly And Mitoma had stayed fit we would be in a totally different situation.

Next Thursday should be a party.

Brighton factually.....
Yes of course, I love the Albion more than some of my family…

we maybe out, but we can salvage some pride, even if we don’t I will know I would have supported my team in yet another hopeless situation….

Brighton is my home.
Brighton is my past
Brighton is future.
Brighton is my Soul

I'm going and it wouldn't surprise me if we won, albeit on the back of them resting 4 or 5 players.

I'm also fascinated by what is going on with De Zerbi. All this talk of Liverpool, Barcelona, Man Utd yet - for me - he is miles away from that level, and the last few weeks haven't done his credentials any favours. I'm not calling for his head, and I hope he commits to us for now and next season, but I've reached the point where I can see it is not the end of our world if he left.
I agree . . . We've been through more than he has. To be fair, we're older!
I hope he stays, and we all improve.

You're too generous, but you obviously didn't see tonight's game which is understandable, and nor Saturday's game, which isn't.

Anyone who doesnt go because we we are behind isnt really a fan are they. Last 16 of the Europa League FFS, beyond our wildest dreams even 2 years ago.
Get a grip, this is the most sucessful Brighton side EVER, and we should go and applaud, and sing our hearts out I have a 250 mile round trip. Have to wait at least 45 mins after the game on poxy Park and Ride and will get home between 2 30am and 3.00am. I can quite easily see myself deciding that an earlier night and a beer in front of the TV watching a dead rubber is preferable. I have sounded out my usual 3 passengers and they are all more no than yes at the moment. Three of our four have work on the Friday. It would be a definite yes if we lived in the Sussex area but location is a factor. We all do a lot of travelling every season and rarely miss more than a handful of games. We will be at the Forest game and Liverpool and Brentford so it ain't gonna kill us to miss next Thursday.
