He has no conviction, no authority, no command of his area. Defenders therefore panic and create chaos. It’s not hard to notice that we end up defending like children when he’s playing
Just look at him at Sunderland . If Potter was still here Steele would be no where near the reserves let alone the 1st team . He was brought in to be a 3rd keeper and that’s where he should be .

I'm not negative about Steel. But for the Lukaku goal, he basically goes for the long leg defence like he's fielding on the boundary. That covers 1m out of 12m available. You ain't gonna save many like that.
Didn't narrow the angle at all. HE IS A f***ing SCARECROW IN GOAL. Gave Lukaku a space to shoot into and didn't come out quick enough.

Their offside goal pee-rolled in. Other goalkeepers pick that up. Not his fault we're losing 4-0 but just play Verbruggen RDZ.

Blaming Steele is not correct tonight.

If you want to blame anyone, blame gaffer and skipper for their roles.

He’s been our best player tonight without question. Nothing to say about the defensive players that played in every single one of them games too? I’ve forgotten more than you know about football that’s quite clear to see.
To make a statement claiming he’s been our best player over Adingra really exposes your lack of football knowledge. I’d delete that reply if I were you.

To even have the audacity to claim you’ve have forgotten more than I’ll know with statements like that is just laughable and I feel a little embarrassed for you. Only a little mind you

RDZ needs a little more pragmatism.
He needs to identify when this dogmatic insistence on playing one way has to be forgotten about. Not for a whole game, but maybe say the first half of our biggest ever match against an inform team.
Managers do make me laugh sometimes.

I've still got "playing for pride", "it's only half-time" and "get an early goal and anything can happen" left on my NSC bingo card.

Hoping to tick them off soon.

I'll blame the manager for persistance in picking a sub-standard keeper. I think that is a fair shout.
