The most curious thing..
I heard this single on a juke box in a completely shit pub in Manchester in the late 1980s (fortunately since demolished), just outside Piccadilly station. Fortunately there doesn't seem to be an on-line recording of it.

Horrible player, terrible pub, atrocious song.
