3 years in school, can't remember a damn thing but all these years later somehow understand quite a bit (reading at least) when in Italy/France/Spain.

No. A few phrases are used in mathematics and I sometimes use et al in work emails. Stet was another I used when reviewing paper documents but this was a few decades ago, I now review electronically.

Had to do it at school.

I don’t remember much

Caecilius in viā est

Caecilius is in the street.

That general sort of useless crap.
That Caecilius bloke really got around as he was in my Latin classes as well.

Anyway did two years Latin taught by Piggy Watson at Stringer. Buggered if I can remember any. Actually buggered might be Latin - I believe the Romans were in to that.
