Prepositions are a fundamental aspect of English grammar that help to communicate relationships between nouns and other words in a sentence. Examples of prepositions include in, on, by, through, with and to.

Please insert an appropriate preposition in the chants below.

“Brighton’s going Rome.”

“Good old Sussex the sea.”

“We’re our way.”

“Football a library.”

Speak for yourself. I fell asleep on the train, woke just in time to rush off at my stop only to realise I'd left my shopping on board. Some lucky bugger got some free crisps and pasta while I've had to buy some more. That was the worst thing that happened yesterday.

I wonder how many looked at your crisps & pasta shopping and left it where it was or turned it over to the train employees. I do not wish you to lose your shopping though. I'm sure you worked hard to pay for those items.

What happens to the ‘we’ve got super Rob De Zerbi’ song when we eventually go out of the Europa League 🤷🏼‍♂️

It probably caused a 'security incident' - with the train being stopped, the carriage evacuated and subsequent delays on all lines.....

They hate the pronouns and now they are going after the preposition.

What next?

All forms of moral decency.

Having lost 3-0, we had the grave misfortune to walk through the very busy children's playpark with our yoof singing that, while gesticulating W-Anchor, to anyone far enough away to not do anything about it.

If I'd had my Portable Global Extinction Device on me, I would have used it there and then without a moments hesitation.
(one of the reasons I tend to not carry it around)

The fact I have the sniffles isn't helping.
