Football fans re-appropriate each others songs. Of course they do. But when one is strongly associated with a particular club and then others nick it, it sounds horrendously embarrassing

Agree with this.

I've heard Villa and Arsenal both sing it recently and it is very embarrassing.

Think Cardiff had a version of it too, but assume that was more tongue in cheek.

But Liverpool adapted it from Italy, Napoli used to sing it years ago and loads of other Italian clubs too

Pretty much all songs are regurgitated from others

ALlez, Allez, Allez, is too slow for us and we don't have the numbers singing, to do it justice.

I was disappointed when we started singing Super Rob de Zerbi , as i just equate it with Arsenal
and took the piss out of Palace when they nicked it for Vieira.

But now that everyone gets fully behind it, I think it sounds great,

I would rather we repurposed: Heeeeyy neal Maupay! (Joao Pedro?) - as we really used to belt that out.
