There’s definitely something objectively in the design of classic cars that makes them far more attractive than those coming off a German or Japanese mass production line imo - more manageable that the oversized Buick, if I had to compromise, I don’t think I could ask for anything more than having a Volvo P1 1800 1962 to run around town in

Me too . . . . BUT . . . So many manufacturers f*** it up right royally by getting a local disadvantaged busker to design the extra bit . . .like the Saab designed by blind lemon Kristiansen, drawn and detailed by harp player fingerless Phil.
I had totally forgotten about the Auto Union sport, lovely car. My parents had an Auto Union DKW, you had to mix oil with the petrol like a motorbike. Loved that car too but it hasn’t got a place on this thread!
