18 hours according to google maps. I reckon when running from Germans shooting at you though it’s half that.

Turn it into a longer break and visit the Normandy beaches - 80th anniversary of Normandy landings this year.
To be fair, compared to the trains at Falmer, it looks like an altogether better experience
