Has it not been reported that if Henderson returns permanently to the UK at any time in the next (three) years, that he owes HMRC £12m for tax payable on his earnings in Saudi - and that as such, a return to the UK is unworkable?

And we are probably the PL club the least likely to pay him the salary to make much of a dent in the tax bill

I know it might be a conspiracy theory, but is it possible that Dyche was instrumental in Holgate being sent off, to help his parent club ?
I think if he were going to do that it'd make much more sense to just tell him to play like crap rather than set out to perma-crock somebody who could play an important role in us taking points off other teams around the relegation spots.

IMHO we should look to bring in someone from South America to keep us up with all the wonderkids. Someone who has respect for us after the way we treated Ali Mac when he returned from Qatar. Maybe been plying their trade in the US recently.
If Estupinian goes, then we will need an elder South American to keep them in order and help them adapt.

Guido Rodriguez could be an option and would add depth for the dm position.

Willian, Nathaniel Clyne , Cresswell - not sure Thiago passes the NDP (happy to be corrected).

In what world do we want an Ex-Palace tw@t on £80k a week who can't even make it into their starting XI and dumps his preggers girlfriend to go off with other women?

Not the kind of experience we are after.

Trippier?

Newcastle (like Chelsea, Leicester and others) will surely have to sell some prized assets prior to June 30th to avoid a possible FFP/PRS points deduction.

Barkley could be good as a deep lying playmaker but I’m just not sure about the leadership qualities we’d surely require.

Lastly, Kyle Walker is 33 and still going strong. I’m sure he’d be interested in joining the birds in Brighton.

(No idea about their contract situations, but) Ashley Young, Jonny Evans, Craig Dawson, Danny Ings, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Seamus Coleman, Ben Davies....

If not British, then maybe Tiago, Hojberg, Jorginho, Firmino?
Would definitely take Hojbjerg off Spurs, just seen he's only 28 feels like he's been around forever!

Ashley Young: Don't think he's got the leadership qualities we're after.
Jonny Evans: Really hope not.
Craig Dawson: Nowhere near the career of our other experienced Pros.
Danny Ings: Not for me Clive. Again not in the mold of the others we've brought in.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain: Not a bad shout. Got 35 caps for England and certainly got the injury record (currently out for 4 months)
Seamus Coleman: been out injured for the best part of a year. Be a huge gamble.
Ben Davies: Not sure Spuds would let him go.
