Watching it absolutely DOES matter because if you don't book flights and accommodation the split second our opponent is known, the only options remaining will cost about a zillion pounds.
My clever young lad has booked accommodation for our group in 12 of the possible 15 host venues for the March 7th game. All refundable of course. He’s a good lad.

IF we got Sparta Prague could that game also be on the Wednesday? (Slavia Prague also still in the competition)

Sorry - answered my own question - no won't be as Slavia won group and so play second leg at home...

I'm planning to only travel if we get tickets - and our points mean that is unlikely at all but the biggest stadia. I'm fully aware that this approach - not even looking at transport and accommodation options until we have tickets confirmed, means we'll be royally FLEECED, but there we go.

Hoping for a big ground in mainland Western Europe (Milan, Hamburg, Rome) - big ticket allocation and lots of transport options.

Am I correct in saying the cutoff for that would be around the 320 to 330 mark if the Sheffield United points are excluded?
Back of fag packet calcs - Liverpool away, which is normally 3000 tix (but might be less this year?) and that had 320-ish (?) points as first tier, then that gives strong steer on where you are..
