That wording "bring forward" ..... I think "re-start their plan to install Glasner" might be more accurate. None of that should deflect from the fact that if this is best for Roy's health then from that perspective, this is a good thing.

Roy has done such a great job this season, Palace have been able to "Bring forward their plans" past the point where Paddy McCarthy takes over, is sacked, then Roy takes over again, retires and they bring in Glasner.
Good job Palace.

As just posted.
Roy has enabled them to bring those plans forward to such a great degree, they can by-pass the whole McCarthy era.
Because Paddy's seen what's like now and doesn't want it anymore.
(or more likely because the palace fans wouldn't like it because it's not a clean enough break from Hodgson of late)
