TBH, I sort of forgot it was on, I am leaving my job on Wednesday so have other things on my mind.
Good luck with the next job.

But as you have asked, Palace have been awful on set pieces this season so I suspect Dyche will send in as many high balls crosses and free kicks into the penalty area, so I think we will lose.

Probably, but I definitely wouldn't rule out a turgid 0-0

I am pretty ok with relegation although I am aware that the club wouldn’t be. Every game is a mission at the moment the crowd seem so tense and angry. It used to be fun. Now you might think it’s because we are not very good at the moment but looking around where I sit the demographic has changed along with expectations, even 8 years ago when we went 3 down before half time against Sunderland there was a gallows humour, if that happens now it turns poisonous, people seem very angry !

Agree - but this is absolutely not unique to Palace. You see it everywhere (Chelsea are good for this) - fans incandescent with rage when their team gets beaten. Its odd, to be honest. Someone has to lose.

Also this is 2 games on the trot playing Monday night, I miss more games than I see these days !
100% with you on this. Monday night games are properly shit. Two in a row for one club is a piss-take, and the rules should not allow that to happen. I think Wolves also had two in a row a few weeks back (one against us).

Sorry if fixtures, but I can't stop laughing at this guy. Who does he think is going to give Palace 80 million quid for Guehi?

Don't get me wrong, he's a good player. But they'd have been lucky to get that for him last summer when the transfer market was overvalued, never mind next summer after all the "big clubs" have got spooked by FFP.

Absolutely ridiculous to think Guehi would go for anything even close to £50m, in the current climate.
He's good, but so are any other amount of centre-backs, that would be available for less money.

Few teams will be looking to spend that kind of money for players that don't create or score goals.

Or on a CB that doesn't really do headed clearances.

If they sell Olise in the summer, as I expect they will as he has a release clause reportedly at £60m, then they probably won’t need to sell Guehi. Decent player and one where I expect they could get c50-£60m. £80m is optimistic.

Just had a quick look at Palace fixtures. Three of their next five are against Burnley and Luton at home and Forest away. Lose those and they’re in deep do do

Everton will be utter dogshit tonight and then do another impression of the 1989 AC Milan side at the weekend. It's in the stars. Palace move away from trouble and Everton get an acceptable return of 3 points from 2 games. Everyone's happy.

Except us.

Cheers, been there 19 years but had enough of the travelling and staying away from home, so I took the decision to leave, haven’t got a job at the moment but as part of the Sussex vacuum mafia hopefully one will come my way ( after the cricket season preferably)

On relegation. Every turd flushes eventually. This or next year is going to be the year the PL collectively takes deep breath, puts on the marigolds and gets out the scissors. I can feel it. I can just feel it

On Hodgson. Like all football fans I wish the fella all the best and I take no pleasure from the predicament Palace have got themselves in with the new bloke.
