Don't the Glaziers still own 75 percent of the club? Not sure the new investors will have much of a day on the big calls.
If Ashworth goes, money on Potter joining in the summer.

Ratcliffe wanted him at Nice, he's said he wants to return to the days of having a British Manager and British core of players.
He will still be massively restricted by the Glaziers mortgaging the club against shopping malls.
Ratcliffe hasn't been restricted by money for a very long time.
I'd imagine he'll chip away at the Glazier's owning percentage over the course of x years with further playing investment as Utd transform into less of a laughing stock.
I can't see them selling more stock till at least after the US World Cup and Launch of the club World Cup to boost the value.
Guess we will see!

I think the key element is that the wheel is always turning in that sometimes a) your strategy needs to be pivoted in a different direction (as clubs are finding with FFP rules being more stringently applied and b) the job of constantly monitoring potential candidates for all important roles in the wheel will never stop.
With a role like DA's if you sit back and do nothing for a while then you'll fall behind as a club.
Sure, all options are open, but you don't amass Ratcliffe money by playing second fiddle to professional remortgagers.
Utd fans being as they are, if they win something they'll be having 'Glazier In' protest marches from the nearest pub to the place they're all going to anyway.
And to think Newcastle fans were so overjoyed when he signed thinking he would be turning Newcastle into a club as well run as Brighton with the addition of several billion in the bank. This is tremendously funny.
I wonder how many of those Toon fans who convinced themselves Ashworth was entirely and solely responsible for us not being a basket case of a club are now going to perform the requisite mental gymnastics to dismiss him as rubbish and bid him good riddance?

Not a chance Potter goes there. He will have had enough of that level of pressure which arguably is more at United than it was at Chelsea. He doesn't need the cash so I'm convinced he'll pitch up somewhere like Palace or West Ham where the expectation will be less but the patience far greater.
