Is the “doc” still about he was a legend

Doc Talbot?

He doesn’t go to games anymore hasn’t for quite a while. He was collecting Wetherspoons at one point.

I think the last time I saw him, I bumped into him In Guernsey, as we were both there for the Peacehaven match. He was doing his ground hopping bit

Doc is absolutely still about, now mostly following another passion of his, watching movies (he was a founder of the Brighton Film Institute back in the day).

Last spoke to him around Christmas time.

And it's usually a WH Smiths carrier bag these days I believe :lolol:

Sadly Chris Evans passed away a few years ago of a heart attack.

He actually resided in Steyning, fun fact he was was a devout Catholic, I wonder if any of his confession sessions were Albion themed? 😂
Chris lived next to me in Seaford, and he and his wife were godparents to my younger daughter.
Went to the play off final with him.

I remember him almost getting squashed by a tea hug getting pushed over at Elm Park.

He sadly died in March 2016.

He was a good mate to lots of Brighton supporters.

I went to school with Chris, he was a funny guy and seemed to to deal with disability as if it simply wasn’t there. The last time I recall speaking to him was on the running track at Withdean post match.

I have not seen Liz in her west stand lower seat since the pandemic. Maybe Liz has moved somewhere else in the Amex. I hope she and John are AOK

Indeed when Amex first opened she sat next to Sarah Watts west lower W1C adjacent to steps. After Sarahs passing she stayed for season or two but has not been there for last two seasons at least.

I go on the supporters coach and she’s given that up now as well

Steve from Portslade. Mid to late 80's, big fella with a tache. Last saw him on a bus in the Old Steine. Long time ago because we were both sitting upstairs smoking.
Obviously he may have shaved his tache, or lost some weight but, don't think I've ever seen him since......

Maybe he's still on the bus.

Steve Webb ?

I had a mate at junior school (Peter Gladwin, Portslade), in the late 70s, called Stanley Jackson. I moved away in 1980, but I heard that by the mid to late 80s he was a well known lad in the North. I stood on the East side of the North, but never saw him. (Fascinating story, this!)

He's always been Doc or Graham to me but now @Lenny Rider mentions it I may vaguely remembering someone calling him that once.

No idea why, but then he has had a varied and interesting life and certainly plenty of stories before my time :lolol:

A very, very dear friend.
We referred to him as Elvis. Suppose it was for his quiffed and dark hair style
