Hopefully a similar injury to when Estupinan did his ACL in, then scored in the next game a few days later.

Not in the training photos.
Not a good sign.

Disaster if it is true. The worst player possible for us to lose at the moment.

Could be old news. He had an injury before the last game and was assessed. Incredibly he stayed on until the 88th minute. He was incredibly combative throughout. If we'd been worried, wouldn;t we have taken him off (and missed that beautiful goal)?

Bit annoying and two steps forward, one step back injury wise if true but 'disaster' ? Groß would be our most-missed player imo.
Disaster is perhaps a bit strong. But he is our best player at the moment, and is in superb form. We really need him for the upcoming European games, so hopefully he will be back by then.

I'm sure he was in training photos yesterday, so it must have happened then.

I think disaster is spot on, on current form

Rotten news if true. Tho a clear opportunity for Evan Ferguson to get some proper game time and kick on
It is a disaster if true. Our threat is reduced dramatically, Ferguson is not in his league currently.

I don’t think Ferguson can complain about proper game time either, he’s started 12 of the 22 league games he’s been available and subbed on with plenty of time to go in 9 others. Started both games in the FA Cup too. Less minutes in the Europa but he’s certainly had enough football overall this season for an 18/19 year old.

Why would a player leak this information with the game in a couple of days? it won’t take long for the info to get back to the Spurs camp.

Hmmm, I find a little hard to believe that Pedro has trained (as seen in that video) yesterday or at most the day before, then injured himself, been assessed by our medics, and the news of the injury has made it out of the club and here in such a quick time. Presumably no player is texting a mate mid session to say Pedro is injured, so the time frame for that news to travel is even shorter. Might be wrong, but this feels like the false injury rumours we had earlier in the season. Or maybe this is old info based on him maybe being injured for the Palace game.

Hope you're right. I cannot fathom why the person who told me would have any reason to lie though, it would be a very odd thing to do. And I know for a fact he has contacts with some of our players (past and present) because I've seen pictures of him out for dinner with them.

Hopefully this time tomorrow I will look foolish.

Could it just be the late filtering through of the news about his possible injury for Palace? Just seems a bit quick and coincidental for the same to happen again.

Hang on, have we got a whole page of panic out of some third hand hearsay?
