I'm really torn on this question. Most of my Albion supporting life we have been second fiddle to them, and I longed for the day we would sit a division (or more) above them, particularly during the Archer/Gillingham years. I was even disappointed when they didn't go properly bust in 2010 I hated them that much. But now, and after a game like Saturday, I think I would really miss a Premier League season without playing them. Its one of the few games we play that has some genuine spice, and I do fear that if they go it could be a long while before they find their way back. I actually feel more empathy toward many of their supporters than those at the "big" clubs and they seem like a good ally (to TB and PBOBE) in counter balancing some of the silly Prem rules/changes that the mega rich clubs would like to come in to further skew the competition. I actually think Id prefer a long period of whipping them season in season out as they just about cling onto Prem league status.

Would have voted no previously. Now we've battered them once I'm fine with not playing them for a while if it means they're back in the championship

I understand your arguments - but no - I would like them to go down (taking Chelsea and Newcastle with them - yeah yeah I know)

I think we’re all in danger of sounding like a collective stuck record on this topic. A lot of Brighton fans dislike Palace, I get it. You want them to be consumed by a swarm of locusts, I get it. Some of us (a small majority according to that recent poll) enjoy the rivalry as far as it goes but prefer to direct our negative stares at Chelsea. I’ve no great antipathy towards Palace. Like us they’re a medium sized club with a chequered history and mostly decent, unentitled fans who deserve better. Chelsea OTOH I would love to see relegated.

I think I'd like them to go down and have a few terrible years in the lower leagues. Go through a bit of what we went through and understand what it is actually like. Then eventually sort themselves out and come back as a better club that we can have proper derby games with again, rather than them sticking 11 men behind the ball and somehow trying to cling on for a 1-1 draw every time.

should be a question Palace to get relagated or we win the Europa league
How is THAT even a question?

However much anyone dislikes the spanners, and revels in their continued decline, the Albion WINNING is what we all live for, surely?

Palace getting relegated AND us winning the Europa League would be quite something, though...

Mine's a No, reason being I'd rather they do go down but after three seasons of real struggle and either run out of money (again) or drift into League One territory
