I am struggling to think of any other season where we have hit 4+ goals so many times. Hopefully we can add to that as well before the end of the season.

Whats our record of scoring 4+ goals in a game in any one season ?

We did it 7 times last season. 8 times in the 10-11 League One promotion season under Poyet.

Sneaky edit Can add 7 times in 00-01 promotion season under Micky, 6 times in 76-77 including hitting 7 twice.

I think the record may be the 1932-33 season when we did it 10 times (I think) although this was helped by our failure to apply for exemption from the FA Cup qualifying rounds and we hit 4 or more in all 4 rounds in our bid to get to the first round proper.

10 of those in 55-56 were before end of January and scored 5+ in 7 of those. 62 goals scored at home in that period, AVERAGE of just under 4 a game.
