Rogers to Villa following Wharton to Palace. Shame we don't seem to fancy that market. You pay a bit more for the elite young English players but it has to be worth it. Value likely doubles the moment they've played a few games for you...Eze, Olise, Scott, Gibbs White etc

I'd have liked Wharton as an addition to the squad.

Also, agree that if you did the analysis, there's still a premium on elite young homegrown players. Rice vs Caicedo goes against that, but I think that was also genius negotiating by us.
