Absolute morons. The Pompey fans attacking the South at the Goldstone around the late 80s sticks in my head. Must've been 9 or 10 at the time, the stewards closed the side gates that we were trying to get out of! The poor kids there must be so scared. They will hopefully all get picked up on camera.

The amount of drama violence causes at football these days.
Violence happens VERY rarely at football these days, but it happens.
Can't be surrounded by things like war and not expect it to occasionally kick off at a football match.

You would actually be surprised watched a video the other day of Aberdeen fans doing a pub old school style, Fulham fans having a go at Newcastle, Man City/Huddersfield in the cup last round, Wrexham have a pop at just about anyone lots of disorder in the lower leagues.

Not great, obviously, but I didn’t see anything on a par with Luton v Millwall 1985. Seemed to be a few in the wrong end and a lot of animated police, stewards and fans running around but I’ve seen far worse…..

This was a fixture when something was always likely to kick off, they’ve been building it up since the last time they met in front of fans 12 years ago.
