Yes we know the rivalry is pointless to you. It isn't to a large number of us. What are you trying to achieve by repeating this so much?
I like a lot of what of Stat Brother says, but I too find his constant trotting out of it being a manufactured and pointless rivalry tiresome.
I have supported the Albion since being a kid in the mid 70s, there’s only one team I consider our arch rivals, there’s only one team I dislike the most, there’s only one team that I truly hate to lose to, that’s Palace.
At what point does it become a rivalry to him, I wonder? Is 50 years not enough? Utter nonsense, isn’t it.

As we no longer interact with palace fans, do any of you have a feel for their take on signing GPott?

I don’t know if Palace have lined up Potter to take over from Roy, but if they have it’s pretty disrespectful to invite him to a game before they have sacked Hodgson.

I know they wouldn’t know class if it bit them on the arse, but, that is a new low even for them.
I think allowing and encouraging the media to perpetuate the myth that a Brighton employee had sh1te all around their dressing room was pretty low and there was the deafening silence of a lack of apology when the truth came out months later. Mullers was absolutely spot on about that club, I don't care what @Stat Brother or others think, I hate that horrible sniveling disgusting excuse for a football club!

I totally agree. And I am pretty much team Stat in most other respects. A good and intelligent poster but he 'wouldn't let it lie'!

As do I, we're ALL having a bloody good laugh at the moment, sadly there's been plenty of times when that's been reversed - as it should be.

i just wish it would end there.

Everything surrounding the trip up there was awful, 03.02 will be awful.

Don't be such a pessimist! We will surely finally and properly hand them their derriere on a plate! It's long overdue.

Gloat away.

I know I am.
NSC is so high on gloating the collective has even run with one of my silly leftfield train (no pun intended) of thoughts.
That's just how gloatified we are, in these parts.

Tremendous.

If they retire Roy, would Steve Cooper take the job?

He’s just left a well paid job, he’s still getting paid by Forest, a lot of people thought he was poorly treated by them, his stock is quite high now, and the Palace clown show struggle to appoint managers.

Viera was about 6th-7th choice, they could only get Roy Hodgson to stay at the start of this season, because recruitment of a decent manager was nigh on impossible.
They have no money to spend, if they want to spend big in the Summer, which they need to do, they have to sell at least one, maybe two of their only good players.

Most of the above also applies to Potter.
