Random story, but about 15 years ago I was out in Newcastle and saw Jet from Gladiators. Tried to get off with her but she was already latched on to some cool dude. But there was this queen dressed up as her so I chatted to him. He pretended he was Jet - apart from the clothes he looked no more like Jet than me, but offered me a blowie in the bogs and I thought why not.

Didn’t know that. Her Dad, my Dad and my Godfather all played rugby together. When my Godfather ran off with her Mum, Sue, my Dad was livid with him - broke the code of “team” and all that. My Dad banned him from seeing me, so I never met my Godfather until I was 18, by which time Sue had kicked him out. I appreciate that this is incredibly banal. I’ll stop boring the crap out of everyone now…
