Moyes got neither time nor patience.
Mourinho and Van Gaal got a bit but they are big names with hugely impressive CVs and history of silverware.
Solskajaer got some because of his affinity and past but was still binned.
ETH has been chewed up and looks totally out of his depth.
If Potter goes, it shows he's learned nothing from the Chelsea debacle.
Another toxic club, of big egos, limited ability and massive expectation.
It will end same as Chelsea. Potter hasn't got the personality for such a task imho.
They do seem an almost unmanageable dressing room.
There was a tweet (can't find it now) showing the "lost the dressing room/dressing room unrest" articles for literally every manager post-Fergie.

That is the main sticking point for him, I cannot envisage United fans putting up with his mundane, bland post match interviews with his reasons why they are not quite there yet and these things take time to gel (we all know they do)
He will exacerbate them and have them frothing at the mouth, calling for his head before a month is out, if he does not hit the ground running.

Not proved. For proof, more time would have been needed. Boehly lost his nerve and didn't give him the time to shift out the trouble-makers. Poch came in in the summer, and has pretty much done exactly what Potter probably would have done, with similar results - the only difference is that there isn't the same clamour from the fans to get him out and get in someone famous enough.

There's a fair bit of noise around United going after Ashworth, because of his previous connections with INEOS Jim, which might have as much of an impact on Potter's future employment.
Of course there would be a spell of gardening leave to be served, but it's not like desperate Dan wouldn't have advised Sir Jim in the meantime, is it?

I went to their game vs Forest in the cup. Two woeful teams, what struck me about manure was the total lack of tactics/ game plan. It was like watching a different sport vs watching the Albion. Surely Potter would at least improve on that?
