Rough sleeping should (and does) lead to deportation as, by its very nature, violates our immigration policy.
What I will say is that, in my experience, rough sleepers from outside the UK are about 10,000 times more self reliant than those from the UK and often work ridiculous amounts of hours...
I don’t think anyone’s stopping them- but rough sleeping certainly acts as a barrier to all of the above.
As mentioned elsewhere this looks like a bit of a publicity stunt than anything particularly binding but those coming up with it seem to be doing it from the right place

Most rough sleepers use a care of address- usually one of the day centres
When I worked in a day Centre we definitely had rough sleepers use our address to register to vote (bit of a loophole to be honest)

Begging- illegal
Shoplifting- illegal
Littering- illegal

Yeh agree with all that which is why I asked. The most “high street-y” type area is a bit of a dive to be frank. I wouldn’t walk along Western Road and think “this place is really promoting a health lifestyle”. North Laine- yes, very much so but wouldn’t call that high street as it’s too NICHE...
To answer the original question- I’m putting my baby to bed and my wife is making her, quite frankly delicious, curried chickpeas which i believe I’m having with a jacket potato (we need to go food shopping)

Yep don’t disagree with this. We’ve become very greedy when it comes to meat consumption and this is leading to long lasting damage to our planet- we want meat regularly and low cost (you really shouldn’t be eating meat EVERY DAY unless you’re a hunter-gatherer). More and more people are...
Yes you’re quite right. My wife has never mentions her veganism to anyone but is often bombarded with questions about it “why don’t you eat this/what’s wrong with eating that” etc and/or people overly aggressively eating meat in front of her
It’s an odd mindset to mock/criticise someone who is...
Is it a co incidence that people are claiming to be eating large amounts of meat today or are a large % of you bullshitting “to prove a point”/ attempting to be funny?
