[Travel] Hells Angels & Travel Saturday 1st June

Loads of them on the ferry to Dover on Thursday from all over Europe. Gendarmes in Calais port and a welcoming group of police at Dover.

    [Albion] RIP Kit Napier

I will always remember an evening game under lights with Kit taking successive corners from both left and right. Each of them ended up almost under the crossbar with the keeper having to flick the ball over. Enjoyed watching that team and particularly Kit Napier!

    [Film] Tremors ITV4 10PM

Saw it on some channel last night. Marvellous film and couldn't count the number of times I've watched it.

Ferring FC in the County League

I remember Ringmer in the FA Cup. They had a good side. We played their reserves in the East Sussex League and they were very strong as well.

    [Travel] Unusual Bus Depots

As a youngster in the 50s always thought that the Hawkhurst bus station and garage was wonderful. Maidstone & District and Southdown as I remember. There was a scale model of the building constructed in matchsticks in a display case inside. We were sometimes waiting for a connection there after...

    [Albion] Player Ratings

Bissouma was tracking Lamela and followed the ball when he passed it rather than stay with his man. Stephens may have had some influence but that is hypothetical.

[Albion] Davy Propper - I'm sorry

Proper was playing on the right and Stephens on the left. They are normally the other way round. This may have affected hem to begin with.

    [Food] Eatinjg in Calais.

Our fall back option is always the Cafe de Paris just round the corner from the old Roman lighthouse in the Place D'Armes in the centre of what was the old town. On two floors, busy, helpful and friendly with a fairly standard menu from memory. Parking is free in the Place during lunchtimes if...

    [Football] 1966 World Cup memories

A mate and I had tickets to the England - Argentina game. As we walked round the stadium before the game we were approached by a large crowd of people. As they got closer it became apparent that Jimmy Greaves was in the centre of this group. That's the first news we had that he wasn't playing...

[News] Rother Valley Railway (extension of the KESR)

It reinstates on the same route but would require a new level crossing over the main A21 London to Hastings road. There was one on the old road but a new bypass has been built since then across what I would imagine is the Rother flood plain.

    [Sussex] Fullers buy Dark Star

Did they say the same about the takeover of Gales? Brewery was closed within a year and all brewing moved to Chiswick.

    [Travel] South-West France

Depends what you want. Hundreds of historic towns, villages and castles throughout the area. Mirepoix is a lovely town with large medieval square and busy Monday market
