Agree with you on the miners but the government actually did make concessions to the hunger strikers - Sinn Fein just had more to gain by their deaths. Deal could have ended IRA hunger strike, says former press officer | UK news | guardian.co.uk

Soistes is stating the truth. Obviously that is too difficult a concept for some.

I share your disgust with New Labour. It was entirely predictable that Blair would be licking her behind this week.

Today's housing market - both rental and sales - is directly linked to the damage she wrecked on it. I am among I suspect many who could not afford to buy the property I live in if I was in my 20's again and rents in London and elsewhere are an obscenity.

Public service strike action and Bob Crow.

Damn right. The Con Dems will make ordinary people, in both the private and public sector, apy for the crisis while featherbedding the c*nts who caused it. Government cut backs combined with VAT rises are expected to cost around about 600,000 public sector and 700,000 private sector jobs. time...

Public service strike action and Bob Crow.

Yeah, right. It was the greed and incompetence of street cleaners, teachers, nurses and firefighters that caused an international banking/financial crisis was n't it?

Hit the poorest the hardest - is this really what people voted for?

Do bigots like you ever look at actual facts ? There are more people without work than jobs available. Vilifying working people with the usual combination of snobbery and lies does not change that.
