[Albion] Getting The Match Date Wrong...

About 5 years or so ago, Mrs W is a huge Lionel Richie fan, bought tickets to see him twice, first at Northants CCC, and a few weeks later at Hove, Sussex CCC. First gig was great, then turned up at same time of day for Hove gig, and saw just his encore, as he finished. No time on the printed...

[Albion] The "Official" Albion Fan Advisory Board thread

You waited best part of a year for your opportunity to present to the Club board, and you were allocated just 15 minutes by dial-in, not face to face. And the Actions recorded say nothing other than TB saying “match day atmosphere should be fan led”. Hello? Do you read me, over?

Lots of plan B. A real revelation, great to be there, superb hard working performance. Well done lads.

    [Albion] Craig Mackail-Smith

Someone needs to state the bleeding obvious. At Posh he played number 10 to the target man Aaron McLean number 9. They both banged in goals for fun because it was a formidable partnership. Gus brought him in, played CMS at number 9, and guess what, he couldn’t. It was pretty much that simple.

[Albion] Are you going to Man City?

I’m as keen as I’ve ever been, but I live in deepest dark north Beds, and with an 8pm kick off I won’t get home until 2.15am. Travelling the entire 7.5 hour return journey on my own, a retired old geezer, I just can’t do these even as a STH. I’m sorry, mine sold on the exchange very quickly.

    [Albion] Ottawa Based Seagulls?

I went to Woodroffe High School. I remember having to walk over colossal snow plough mountains to get across the main road. 45 years ago, blimey. I lived on the 18th floor of the western most tower block, bet they’re looking a bit tired now.

    [Albion] Ottawa Based Seagulls?

I lived in West Ottawa (Poulin Avenue) wayyyyy back in 1979. Scored the winning goal in a 1-0 win over Gatineau, the big Anglo-French crunch match. it was broadcast on local public service broadcasting. My only ever televised winning goal.

[Football] Few things which pissed me and others today..

I left on 91. For me, the only players who really really put a whole-hearted shift in, and had some impact, were Carlos, Enciso and Boner. I would have stayed to the bitter end to clap those three off, but they’d all been subbed. So, there was literally no need or reason for me to stay the last...

[Finance] Premium Bonds - prize pool increased again - you ever have any luck?

£475. That’s an annualised return of 5.5%, which is not far off 1.5x average luck.

[Finance] Premium Bonds - prize pool increased again - you ever have any luck?

I’m sure the mechanism has been renewed or upgraded many times since, but about 18 years ago through work, I met a gent who had been working for NS&I, and his last project was some statistical distribution work to analyse a perceived anomaly in ERNIEs true random performance. The hypothesis was...
