    [Help] BT Openreach scam

I work in the phone / internet industry and this scam has been going on for 2 years or so. Almost exclusively the call will come from a foreign sounding caller. Caller ID, if you have it, will show a UK number. Calling that number will result in no connection as it does not actually exist...

[Travel] Rail fares rise by 2.7%, hitting millions of commuters

Ah! The famous Thameslink seats (and the wind blowing all the way down a 12 coach train. I loved these when they first started running them from Lancing to Croydon. 2 weeks of those seats and I will only travel on a Southern train now.

All broadband with the exception of Virgin run over the BT copper lines. The speed you will achieve is purely down to line quality and, in the case of FTTC, distance to the cabinet. Regarding Vodaphone BB if you do go for it I would suggest you set the DNS servers in your router to use Google...

    [Help] Network Adaptors

OK my 2p worth. You said "inserted a 802.11nUSB Wireless Lan Card" Inserted meaning ? Plugging it in to an external USB port on the laptop? or actually opening up the case and inserting it (unlikely)? Step 1. Remove the new wireless Lan card. Step 2. Reboot laptop. Step 3. Uninstall anything...

[Albion] What can be done to make midweek games at The Amex less of a pain in the arse?

Ah! If only. Clearly you also enjoy the 8 or 12 coach train from Falmer throwing you out at Brighton and then the hour wait to get on a 3 coach going westbound Sent from my SM-T520 using Tapatalk

:D Very Good (In response to: I think this is a mistake, someone in their accounts asked Parrish about the books and and he misheard when he replied "I'm just altering them". )
