So Jahanbakhsh told an iranian newspaper today in an interview that it was national team coach, Carlos Queiroz, that advised him not to go to Brighton.

I don't think he said no because of money. He is only 21 and he has just said recently on an iranian tv interview that he wants to play at the highest level possible.

The thing is the report is seemingly from Jahanbakhsh's agent talking to an individual who reported it on twitter. The agent is Iranian and by "accepted" he could have meant that NEC welcomed the offer or acknowledged it, not necessarily that they accepted everything and it is all up to JB now...
