Bournemouth on Sunday will tell us absolutely nothing of note whatsoever. We are utterly f***ed by injuries and limping to the end of the season. We are lightyears away from having our first 11 fit and in form.
No panic. Go again next season.
Absolutely - we really should be expecting a lot more from the likes of Mark O'Mahoney and Odel Offiah against one of the greatest club sides of all time.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
It's almost like we've played most of the season with most of our best players injured. The team that are currently on the pitch should by all rights finish about 14th. No shame in it. Go again next season with some actual players.
Europe has ALWAYS been at least a bit on, based purely on how dreadful most of the sides around us are.
Just a shame we’re determined to match them lately.
Whilst maybe unlikely, if we got even a draw that would be a massive boost for Arsenal given their goal difference situation. It would then be in Arsenal's hands, given Liverpool's loss yesterday.
It’s so frustrating.
Europe is completely there for any side who can get a run together.
Find it hard not to focus on all those 1-1s where we battered sides. If we could’ve just finished off 2/3 of them, Europe would be completely there for us right now.
It is.
Same way we do every year pretty much (wife’s family have roots up there).
- multiple days at the beach - the kids love it (a good book, a scotch pie, some boules will do plenty of hours if the weather is decent)
- visit Alnwick for the day (barter books etc)
- maybe do Bamburgh castle...
