    [Football] The new England shirt

All of this furore over a football kit. I feel sorry for the players, they have a cross on their backs.

[Politics] King’s Cross - Ramadan Message

My wife is very religious. I am not in the slightest and think it is all bollocks. I don't find this offensive, but I'm not sure it should be on a public information board - in the same way that we send our kids to non-faith schools. Keep the basics free of influence - allow everyone to...

[Albion] So, how much did Europe cost you?

Due to illness I have not been going out that much compared to normal, so football is my only non family outing - and it takes up alot of energy. Rome away was 650 quid - which for one person is alot - but I had to get in and out Thurs/Fri. I am still completely shattered now. Kudos to those...

[Albion] Examples of amazing comebacks please.

Probably worthy of it's own thread but that's not going to happen anytime soon...and also look how the press has moved away from him immenitely getting sacked / him being labelled as all sorts of things - now the chat is about a power struggle.

    [Albion] Fatboy Slim in Rome

Was a fantastic night, agree about 70/30 ratio. Shame it's unlikely to happen again this year.

[Albion] Examples of amazing comebacks please.

To be fair to the lad, Christian Horner has done sensationally given where he was a couple of weeks ago.

    [Albion] Ambitious summer Transfer Window.

Alex Crook is very close to the club - the club would have fed him this line. I'm not really sure whether we need to go utterly mad in the transfer market - the talent we have is fabulous. But Modric on a free transfer would work.

[Albion] Gus Poyet on Sky Sports News

I still love Gus to be honest. Those years were amazing, and he seems to have a real good affinity for us. I remember doing interviews with Gus when he was manager of the Albion and he was utterly magnetic. It seems that the club and him have got over whatever happened. He appears in the doc.

    [NSC] Royal Sussex County Hospital.

not sure there is a perfect hospital ive been to - having lived in london and used most of the ones there as well... but it def helps if there is good access to it. Royal Sussex, despite the improvements, it across several buildings in a tight space. very hard to visit as an out patient and as a...

    [NSC] Royal Sussex County Hospital.

Yeah.. my folks were living there for a bit, so used the hospital a few times. It's just so much easier to use as a hospital

    [NSC] Royal Sussex County Hospital.

In Plymouth they have a huge out of city hospital which is a dream to get in and out of, park and serves the community well. Royal Sussex is just the wrong shapes, sizes and location...as well as not being modern.

[Drinking] Dry January -- anyone continuing?

Ask the question- do you actually want to drink? I was offered beers after a good work meeting today with some people involved in a deal. A past me would have said yes no problem, but i just simply said 'sorry lads, just not up for drinking today, but I'll come for a lime and soda. ' In the...

[Drinking] Dry January -- anyone continuing?

I failed dry jan. I had a few celebratory beers early in the month after some good news, and also cracked by having some beer at the wolves game, and then 3 pints at the Palace game (not Jan, I know). However the non drinking days totalled a month off. I did something similar in 2021 until...

[Football] Do you still watch MOTD?

Although many have already seen it online, the BBC will have cut it down to censor for the kids.
