Cardiff (last season of the Goldstone), Birmingham (I think it was Chapman's debut), Southampton FA Cup 86, Leeds (when they ran at the north stand) & Oxford in '85 in Hove Park were the worst I've seen.
My half term report on the 'newbees' to the club would read something like this;
Smith - could'nt have written a worse script to his start if you'd tried ... E
Hoyte - Where is the potential gone that Mr Wenger see's ... needs to improve. D
Tunnicliffe - Average start, improvement very much...
13 posts is neither here or there - having supported the team (travelled to 82 league grounds following the team) over 25 years and having a very good mate whom I've known since school who socialises with 4/5/6 current BHA employees gives me (and him) a decent insight.
Just got a text of my mate who is 'CLOSE to the action' at the Albion, and he's reliably imformed me that he's got another game to see how things go .... shame! .... a game wasted in my opinion!

I was there with my brother & two mates in the Birmingham end .... C'ant remember how the scoring went but we were sitting at the back of the main stand (fairly worried about what we would do when/if we scored) .... anyway an over head kick friom Munday sent us of our seats etc etc .... and...
After the miracle of us staying up last season, and a fantastic job done by RS and the team (with Hart & Owusu on top form) came the expected & correct decision to appoint RS on a two year contract ... further news of a new chairman, with 'pots' of cash and a two year short term plan going into...
