[Misc] Official NSC Dog Bore Thread

Yeah long term problems, insurance becomes a rip off, but we kept it until Rosie was about 10/11 years old, just because of that 'just in case' way of thinking. It just became daft money after that, so we figured we'd just put the insurance money into an account and use it if we ever needed to...

[Misc] Official NSC Dog Bore Thread

Our Rosie was on Apoquel for years and you're right, it's chuffing expensive. Unfortunately this is where the insurance companies have you over a barrel. You have to pay your excess to claim, then it becomes a known medical issue, so in the vast majority of cases, if you swap insurers then...

    [Football] FA Cup semi finals

Not fussed who wins, though Man City to tonk Utd in the final again would be lovely. I just don't see what Grealish brings to this side though. His cut inside is predictable, he doesn't seem to be able to beat the man on the outside, just all a bit meh. Is Doku injured? He seems to inject so...

[TV] Star Trek or Star Wars

The Dominion Wars seasons in DS9 were, and still are, some of the best sci-fi to have graced the screen. I was gripped! As to the big question. I actually like them both, thoroughly enjoying all the recent Star Wars spin offs on Disney+, and still happily watch the Original, TNG, Voyager and DS9.

    [Football] England vs Belgium

It's all swings and roundabouts though, players dip in and out of form. Dunky isn't at his best at the moment, whereas Gomez has been flying for Liverpool recently. Yet, only 6 months ago he was on an abysmal run of form. England have looked fairly decent going forward in the second half, but...

    [Football] England v Brazil

Looks like Gomez? Plays him onside on the initial phase and he's onside for the tap in.

    [Football] England v Brazil

Gallagher, the poor man's CMS with that penalty claim 😁 Not been a bad game, Brazil should be ahead, but it's great to see Dunky get another cap against a footballing giant.

[Albion] Julio Enciso - Paraguay’s new wonder kid (Signed 17/06/2022)

As @Shins said, Enciso is the one. When he gets a little bit of maturity about him in his head then he's going to be a superstar. I was absolutely gutted when he got that injury, honestly thought he was the piece of the jigsaw that would take us to the next level. Just got to take it easy with...

[Albion] The Europa League 23-24 Round of 16 Draw OFFICIAL THREAD

An incredible draw. Absolutely buzzing about it. Just astonishing that we're going to be playing Roma in the Stadio Olimpico and be fairly confident we have a decent chance. All those Sundays watching James Richardson on Football Italia in the 90s and now this reality. Dreamland!

[Football] The ticking Profit and Sustainability (FFP) timebomb...

I'm sure they'll squeeze out of it somehow with the amount of homegrown talent they've got. The thing I took for that is that Sanchez got a 7 year contract! Man, no wonder he was keen to move.

    [Football] Brentford up for sale?

I think that's a little bit unfair on them. I've been there several times now and it's a decent watch. I think they did the right thing in capacity terms. Before their decent championship seasons they were like us and getting 4-6k crowds, hard core base, but little else. I live round the corner...

    [TV] Masters Of The Air

Thought episode 4 was dull and disjointed. The only interesting point in it was the disappearance of new crews straight away and no one knowing their names.

    [Albion] Dan Ashworth joins Newcastle

I read that today and thought how deliciously ironic it was. They didn't give a crap about that when they went for him when he was at the Albion, only difference being we had the nous to put him on gardening leave for a bit to make sure whatever knowledge he took with him wasn't particularly...
