[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Manchester City *** Official Match Thread ***

What are you all moaning about. We are very much under strength, and Man City are just about the best team in the division... and man for man quicker than us in every position. It is a minor miracle every time we score against them, let alone get a point!

It's difficult and expensive because it is the profitable bit, apparently.

Probably a good idea, particularly if they take ownership of the rolling stock whilst they are at it.

[Albion] How exactly did we blow the Championship title in 2016/17?

I think Chris Hughton's experimental lineup versus Norwich played a big part in spooking the team.

Out of interest, could you explain the specific reason why Michael Cohen was convicted of perjury, and why he says he did it?

    [Politics] Donald Trump 2024

That is actually quite thought provoking. Personally I have found the trend for diversity quotas (which seems, to me...

I do wonder why Mr Trump has such bad luck with his hires though. He tells us he only hires the best people, but so many of them seem to end up with legal difficulties.

    [Politics] Donald Trump 2024

There does appear to be a cultural norm these days that it is unacceptable to admit when you are wrong or that your position has changed (or is different from your peers) - as people that do are attacked and ridiculed for doing so. This seems to lead to a social pressure from their peers to...

This demonstrates well that you can't tell what a person thinks about any issue from their known opinion about one specific one.

He didn't sell all of it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1999%E2%80%932002_sale_of_United_Kingdom_gold_reserves

    [Politics] Worst PM since Thatcher

That is a tough list to choose from! I'd have chosen Brown, but for the fact the damage he caused was actually when he was Chancellor of the Exchequer - PPP, pensions raid, selling the gold reserves etc.
