    [Politics] Brexit

Wow. How have you survived long enough to post on a message board? "People say that I shouldn't step in front of a train, but I've never actually seen anyone get killed by a train so it's probably project fear."

    [Politics] Brexit

Seriously? The government who are trying to force through a no deal brexit are actually saying "This is what we expect to happen" and you won't believe it until you actually see it? What do you expect to gain from Brexit that makes it worth making so many people who are struggling already suffer...

No, this is their base case scenario. So, this is what they actually expect will happen. I can't imagine how bad worse case would be.

Also against the wishes of the people. Almost nobody voted for leaving with No deal when they voted to leave.

    [Albion] Bournemouth

Is this because of the stadium size? Because that makes absolutely no difference to sustainability whatsoever. Look at this: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/jun/06/premier-league-finances-club-guide-2016-17 We made £5M from match day whereas a big club like Everton made £14M. So...

What would you do with £123m

Oh. I've not bought a ticket since the very first rollover of the original lottery so sort of assumed that they were £1 each. It appears that I have made mistake.

What would you do with £123m

Odds of winning Euro Millions 139.8M to 1. Prize £167M. Just need to buy every single combination and assuming nobody else wins as well, you make a cool £30M. Easy money.

John McDowell and a run on the pound.

Yes, we have to do all of these things. We have to make sure the company is going to be able to stay solvent in the case of another crash like 2008 etc. It doesn't mean that we're expecting that to happen, it's just a sensible way to run a company (or a country).

John McDowell and a run on the pound.

The fact that anyone can complain about this is absolute lunacy. So... They're making their plans to try to win the election and then they're working out what scenarios could happen if they win and they're working out how they would deal with worst case scenarios. Surely, no matter how much...

Anyone ELSE at the LEVEL for JC rally ?

If you look at your chart, do you see what was happening up until 2008? The deficit was coming down massively whilst still taking children out of poverty. The fact that the deficit increased so much was obviously out of control of the Labour government at the time. It has been proven that...

AFC Bournemouth vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Bah. Neither 510 or 520 works for me and I pay something like £50 a month and they just put it up by £4 a month for no apparent reason. I see a phone call to Virgin retentions in my imminent future.

Bournemouth bid £20million for Demarai Gray

New stadium should be built for the 2020 season. But, match day revenues are a drop in the ocean compared to sky money.
