I sometimes wonder what Robert would think of the Albion now. Life is constantly evolving & changing. I know this thread is from last year but I can’t believe it was 18 years ago. Put this on my social media this morning. I have visited the memorial to pay my respects & found it very humbling...
It must have been a massive fluke to be honest as I have family in Liverpool & I have done that journey countless times & I have always been checked on the train & before boarding at Euston.
I walked past the staff onto the platform at Euston on the Saturday morning & they just waived me...
No one checked my ticket getting on at Euston on the way to the Everton game, no one checked on the way & Lime Street has no gates. This happened on the way home as well.
Worth a try maybe ..... *♀️
Enjoyed it so far. Despite the moany ******** I sometimes have to put up with. I had the time of my life up at West Ham when we stuffed them.
I do miss the Championship though & enjoying jolly’s up at QPR & Fulham.
If we are relegated you won’t catch me crying.
On my waaaaaaaay! Meeting my brother at Old Trafford. It’s his first Prem game this season as he can’t make many games, so I’m sure it’ll be an emotional afternoon all round.
Wearing a coat like Dr Who to stick loads of stuff in my pockets as my bag was too big.
No doubt will lose everything...
Sadly a sign of the times.
I measured my handbag yesterday & it’s too big. Staying at my brothers but can’t get to his before, looking into the possibility of a bag drop at Manchester Piccadilly. Other wise i’m a bit screwed.
Sounds a good idea.
Parking in Lewes is also getting ridiculous unless you’re there early.
I swear the buses used to come back a lot later, probably talking about ten years ago though ....
