Seems a complete farce to me to be honest. 23 in the squad and yet players who haven't even made the 23 given minutes. Ridiculous!

is it to make up the numbers as players from Man City and Chelsea given time off following cup final?

R5L were drooling over Ward-Prowse. Knowing Southgate, despite our defensive frailties he will add another midfielder...

PS: W-P takes a brilliant free-kick, admittedly.

Ben was tremendous today. One can only hope that playing the full 90 minutes means that he is in the frame for the last place in the squad. He was so cool. In comparison. Minger is a cart horse who thinks he's far better than he is.

That's makes sense. Still can't think of any other possible reason.

Oh, and anyone not starting Grealish is an idiot. He is 5% above anyone else in the squad.

Rashford . . . may be saintly but his football judgement is not great.

As for Hendo. FFS, no goals for England, let's bogart a penalty? No Hendo. That was tittish.

Here’s a special secret for you. If what I contribute offends you. You can ignore me. Cheers.

To be honest, I agree with many of your opinions, it's the constant twitter drivel that winds me up.

I thought he was calm composed and didn't put a foot wrong. Strange he seemed standout classy whereas its less noticeable for the Albion because all our centre defenders can do that!

Whether its enough to get into the 23 who knows but that performance certainly didn't do him any harm.

Obviously I am bias, but for all his set piece brilliance I don’t see how JWP even gets in the full strength England team?

If Ben (or Godfrey too, in fairness) make the cut I can see either of them getting game time.

Grealish should certainly start ahead of Sancho & Rashford. In fact I’d have him ahead of out-of-form Sterling in a three with Mount & Foden behind Kane.

Grealish's rag doll impressions are really pissing me off. Did the referee say to him in the first half, something along the lines of "I know you were fouled but don't make such a big drama out of it. I do my job well".

Definitely can't see Sterling being in the team. He looked shattered towards the end of the season.

Class from Ben White. I wish we knew tonight whether he makes the squad!

Ben White looked like he'd been playing for England for years today. I'm not sure he misplaced a single pass. Hopefully he has done enought to get that final place in the squad.

To be fair you are clearly so obnoxious on this forum , I think most people reading it, either ignore you or read your posts for comedy value.

back to out Ben, he's simply a composed defender, plays with an assurance beyond his years.
