Variations of the word cool and chill and not being in the fridge context

When said repeatedly by middle aged folk ...

People have used cool that way since the 30s so it's not surprising if middle-aged people use it today. In fact, back in the 19th century, people were using the term "cool fish" to describe someone sophisticated and worldly. Chill out appeared in the Sugar Hill Gang's Rapper's Delight in the 70s. Take a chill pill popped up in the early 80s.

Young people no doubt have their own versions now, but "cool" and "chill" are old people worlds, bro :)

You have reminded me why I dislike watching Jamie Oliver on TV, I think he uses the expression “bad boys” when he’s talking about a saucepan :wrong:

'From the get go' - What is wrong with the word start?

'Just saying like' - Just trying to be a smartarse.

Ending a sentence with the word 'lad'.

'Wrong on so many levels'- Apart from bad parking in a multi storey car park I have no idea what this actually means.
