OK. Let’s deconstruct that and try to build a bridge too.

I didn’t suggest you couldn’t post your remarks on here. Precisely the opposite, in fact. You suggested closing the forum down if it was full of my kind of comments. As far as I’m concerned, you may post whatever you like. Debate is definitely one of the key functions of this forum; it’s just not the only one, which was my point.

Turning to bridge building mode, I don’t even disagree with your frustration at what is happening on the pitch. You and I are clearly different in respect of how much we carry that frustration forward into the following week and that’s fine. Different strokes and all that.

As regards Potter, I take the view that he’s still learning his craft and that we should be careful what we wish for. I like that the club has a long term plan and I am prepared (not happy) to take the bumps in the road provided I can see secure foundations being laid. Our league position is treacherous but our academy and its product are not so I will trust those pulling the strings.

I don’t blindly accept poor performance. Back in the day I wrote my letters, I attended the marches and, on an especially satisfying occasion, I got to doorstep John Prescott in India and ask how the planning application was going. His reply... “Jesus, you people get absolutely everywhere”. My point is I got militant back then because our very future was in jeopardy. Only the biggest pessimist would think that now, which is why I am prepared to cut the manager and board some slack.

You clearly want more immediate action and Potter’s sacking. Plenty of people here do agree with you. Again, it’s all about opinions and I’ve no problem with that. Debate is fine and actually healthy. You’ll never change your mind if it’s not challenged. I just like debate to be civilised and measured. A difference of opinion doesn’t need to make enemies out of those holding them. If I can’t change your mind and you can’t change mine, we can just disagree, move on and ultimately find something else we do agree on.

Oh! And in response to your question. I was more angry about the Palace match because it was Palace. I’m surprised that would even need explaining but to me, that isn’t just another match. It just isn’t. What can I say? I just loathe them. I’m shallow like that.

Afraid you have me wrong, I don't want Potter to go, I want him to show more energy, more passion. To say that conceding late on "was a blow", no it is a worrying failure that is haunting us time and time again.

I do get Palace of course I do, I was sat in the stand at Stamford Bridge of the cup replay, so I very much get it. However witnessing so many games where we fail to beat them when easily the best team, I resign myself that failure is likely.

What gets me and stays until the morning of the next game is the shattered belief "we" may just have learnt the learning that is mentioned after each game. This belief erodes rapidly with each and every miss followed some very odd subs late on that make more unlikely to win. A note written on paper, a shrug, drawing breathe but no instruction, no energy. And he hates to be criticised for it as he has been but even at WBA he stood there motionless, please show something even lift a leg to fart something.

Fascinating how many in the "Potter out camp" that writes 20 posts a day about how shit GP is just to follow it up with a "why am I not allowed to post about it?"

You are obviously allowed to post about it but people might disagree/get tired of it and tell you that you're wrong. Its not the same thing as "not allowing it".

[emoji38] that is a weird thing that’s come in lately here.

From the last day...

Or a manger that's a motivator and looks like it bothers him what happens. Seen corpses with more life in them
Perhaps sucky teeth can now show a little man management and get us up for a game reminding them all it's a full length game that last beyond the first half.
I want a manager to show some passion, I like most of the football but ****ing put some passion in it sucky man
Having a manager who is devoid of any passion about he game, who appears to miss the reason for the very existence of the reason for the game I am extremely unhappy. **** sake man show some thing even a wistful sigh. He is made of the remains of the spitting image puppet of John Major.

I'm not sure some of these ex-players and now managers understand the passion supporters have, those that followed their team right through their lives actually understand the reason for their passion. He is lifeless, he might as well be talking about resurfacing the road outside my drive for the passion he shows. He ****ing winds me up.
My summery is having watched us for over 46 years I look less forwards now than ever before. It's down to sheer frustration. We have a manager who must be so boring as a person no passion no anything to get the juices flowing, yes we play nice football but really where's the pride. Every game we spend the day waiting, and then what do we get? The same every ****ing week, followed by the manager saying the same every ****ing week, I've had enough.
Manager as dull as dishwater, he needs an electric shock to get him sucking his teeth. FFS man get some ****ing passion come and live here and have some of my ****ing disgust at us giving away another three points. Understand my utter despair at another week of studying the table of doom. My ****ing dismay at the carefree attitude of the sucky man showing a real lack of substance

... if we ignore the pubertal levels of personal abuse, you could still perhaps understand why some people think you want Potter to go.

Fascinating that someone who didn't know anything about us can have such a full idea of how we should feel about his man and our team. These 20 posts a day is utter shite as I rarely post that amount in total, very rarely on any threads. Add to Potter out, where have I said that?

People can tell they believe I'm wrong but they certainly can't tell me I am as it's is subjective and I've been watching my team for longer than you have been born so no lectures from you about how great your man is will change that.

No, you've not said Potter out I think, just called him pretty much everything that grown up people do not say to other people, making me believe thay you'd prefer him gone.

Of course it is subjective and you can say whatever you want (I really dont give a shit for how long you've been watching the team though), but the whole "why am I not allowed to say this?" thing clearly got no connection to reality.

Oh do shut up please.

Lets me analyse some of the crap you have posted. Or perhaps not as you hate criticism and I frankly couldn't give a flying shite.

Over 7300 posts in 1 1/2 years, against 12400 in 17 years says who is posting most shite.

Edit On abuse calling him boring, lacking passion, being grey, sucking through his teeth and looking like he can't motivate, is that abuse? Honestly grow up

No, it really just says that I made 7300 posts in 18 months and that you made 12400 in 17 years. It says nothing about the content.

Fair enough. So you weren’t persuaded of his passion when he gently threw that water bottle after Benteke’s winner?

You must hold yourself in such a superior regard. I bow down I'm not worthy:tosser:

You know it. Wankpuffins' one attempt on goal in injury time goes in. Fluke that the cross lands perfectly on the donkey's head.

To get this thread back on track.

If you placed a £1 accumulator on Liverpool losing their last 6 home games, you would be picking up £154,000 tonight.

Anyone after timing?
And Palace have just equalised.
