Unless instructed to be purely a CB and not to stray, Burn shouldn’t be anywhere near an Albion team.

He does have the odd good game, but boy he is weak defensively.



Which successful club in an elite league plays a 6’6” slow guy as a LWB or LB? None.

That’s the frustrating thing, we’re the architects of our downfall. So many of the goals we concede due to horrendous defending.

We can't defend and can't we score goals. We basically can't play football. The key elements of a simple game we can't do.

Defending at its very very worst from all aspects there. Far too easy for Arsenal to score.
We need to learn how to defend before we can have any hope of improving results.
Performance wise, we have played ok thanks to Biss, but he is being let down by those around him.

I know all the issues we have upfront but our defending this season has been woeful! It’s not if, on paper, we have poor defenders. This is Potters main failing in my eyes!

That's a pretty nasty thing to say. There's a balance to be had here. The criticism of Grahams team management is perfectly valid at the moment. You. amongst others, appear to have the view that he has no shortcomings and knows exactly what he's doing. All that is fine. But they have all contributed consistently in the past, AJ never has. Nice guy and he tries hard but he’s basically not up to this standard.
