I seriously wonder what Alzate has to do to get any minutes on the field. One poorish game at Everton and he's out. Others have far more leeway.

I'm starting to doubt potters man management and leadership skills.

Me too, maybe better suited to draughts, or squirrel racing on ice, who knows.

The ref /VAR was dodgy, but I agree. Nice/bland guys don't win. We were utter gash 2nd half, and £50m on the bench made no difference. We are, and have been predictable, with no 2nd gear.

I almost feel sorry for a few players.

Dunk is a shadow of his former self . . . . Ryan is shit. I'll step away and chill now.

What a wasted opportunity.

Our inability to score in open play is beyond a joke now.

One home win in 2020.

At least we didn't get tickets for tonight's game.

It was a poor performance but the players worked really hard... just to get ****ed over by a horrible VAR decision. ****ing annoying bollocks.

I don't agree with you.

Every Saints player wanted it more than his Brighton counterpart.

Tonight was unacceptable by the team and by Potter.

The single phrase you can use which screams "entitled" the loudest

Decent first half, not amazing but not terrible second. Came out on the wrong side of the fine margins. Decent opponents today. Soton easily a top half side this year.

This. Fact.

So toothless going forwards. We could have played another 90 and we wouldn’t have scored!

I’m not sure why anyone would complain about the Saints penalty. Absolutely nailed on for me, as soon as VAR were taking a look I knew it was a penalty and that Ryan would go the wrong way

By the law of averages he has to go the right way one day

To be honest, I think he'd either have been sacked already, or just about to IF the supporters were in the stadium all season.
Boos would have been ringing a while ago and the pressure would be massively mounting on both the Manager and Chairman.

Those statistics are abysmal.

OMG that was absolute dire shite , we could do another 90 mins and still not score . A training match for Southampton in 2nd half . Why o why can we not do anything from a set piece???? Potter will say as usual that we learnt from it and VAR was against us . He is worse than Hypia .

All I can say is thank god I was tier 3 and please make me tier 3 or 4 for this coming Sheffield game Sunday as it’s in the bag that they will get their first 3 points of the season .

There's always Crystal Palace to cheer on when they play someone below us still. Cringeworthy and touching new lows.

Are we still sweet sixteenth? Potter is an amazing genius. So lucky to have him.
