That to me is a completely irrelevant statistic, it basically says to me that about 0.03-0.04% of Americans who are arrested for a VIOLENT crime are killed.

What about for NON-violent crimes, which constitute by the far the most arrests in any society?

If there is no racial bias when it comes to violent crimes, you can’t possibly assume a racial bias with any other crimes without examining the 3rd and 4th variables. If there was a racial bias, it would exist here.

Last year, 5.1% (19/370) of white people killed by cops were unarmed. While 3.8% (9/235) of black people killed by cops were unarmed. This includes all deaths caused by cops.

That would only be applicable if only the ‘one house’ was ‘on fire’.

The statistics just don’t show that. For every 10,000 black people arrested for violent crime, 3 are killed. For every 10,000 white people arrested for violent crime, 4 are killed.

If black people are being disproportionately killed by cops, as we are told, these numbers would be a lot different.

A black professor at Harvard University produced a study which showed no racial bias with police shootings.

However, I will in no way defend the cop. One thing I think everyone agrees on, is that George Floyd did not deserve to die, and the cop absolutely should be held accountable.

This is what I take from ‘All Lives Matter’ Which by the way, includes George Floyd, David Dorn (the retired black cop killed last night) and people of all races.

Unfortunate as it is, people would rather cause disruption and death and only believe in the hype until they are hysterical about it. The world is full of hate such a sad world to bring your kids up in.

I am pointing out that you never make a point without trying to provoke or incite. You justify this through thinking the insults you perceive are completely unjustified, instead of thinking, yeah perhaps if I toned it down a bit I'd get my point across. You then, as if you have no self awareness at all, say people are inciting hate. It's like you are completely oblivious to what you type, or you don't read it back to yourself. No it's your double standards. We know that Trump is careless with words but the Democrats are proactively organising violence. They are not the same thing at all.

There are some posts (and posters) on here that are possibly borderline racist - I'm not sure that easy to judge which side of the line they fall, though. Imho it's always best to keep debating - this Board does an admirable job in keeping the debate going, and I think it's great that we get to see the whole range of views. I find some posters on here intensely irritating (and much worse), but it's still worth trying to understand where they are coming from. Maybe we can help to change their views....?
