The man is refusing to answer questions about his ridiculous decision to back someone seemingly unsackable whilst potentially putting all of our lives at risk - unless you think every single person that answered the recent poll and said they were less likely to abide with regulations were lying. If we can't question him now, when the hell can we?

Seems to have answered lots of questions, it’s just not to the satisfaction of all of the country. What is. Some continue to scream and shout as they are not getting the sacking are demanding.

You obviously didn't watch the meeting this thread was about then as he spent the first 30 minutes ducking every single question. Every single one. Mumbled big words and references to party politics. Dismissing out of hand reports of bulging inboxes for MPs of all colours and results of opinion polls. My MP is ignoring email and Twitter messages and has invoked radio silence to protect her own hide. You put up with it if you want to. But don't ever presume to tell me what I should or shouldn't think when tens of thousands of people are dying and I, like millions of others, have direct relatives at risk of this pernicious disease and by association, the pernicious people in charge.

I have never ever been so disgusted by the human being species In my life, there are a large percentage of bloodthirsty hyenas on this thread.
If they took their political heads off and took in the facts, they would realise that they are actually hateful spitful people who far worse than Boris or Cummings.

Sad times.

You lot do make me laugh. With a majority of 80+ Boris and Co can do what they want. They have four years to prove themselves so points scored now are irrelevant. They will be judged on the economic recovery by 2024. I'm sure they will get in again.

Because one thing they've demonstrated so far beyond question is that when the chips are down in a crisis they've known exactly how to deal with it properly...

I seem to recall similar things were said of Thatcher in the early 80's. She stuck around for a while.

So essentially what Boris could do with right now more than anything is Argentina invading the Falklands?

This is 100% true.

Starmer would need a swing of Blair-97 proportions to win an election outright. Corbyn decimated the PLP.

I hope Starmer does it, but I can see nothing but a Tory win in 2024 (when the Cummings debacle will be a distant memory) or a coalition Government. No other way Labour have a hope in hell tbh.

Whilst I always admire the way you come across and your reasoned intelligent views the thought of another 5 years of a Conservative administration fills me with horror, NSC would implode on itself [emoji23][emoji23]
