They did well stalling it for over 3 years. Even deluding themselves that they could stop it but we waited patiently for democracy to prevail and didn't it just. The good people of the country made sure of that.

Chatting with racist Das Reich about 'good people'.

I'm white and arguably middle aged; however I'm neither overweight or permanently red faced, unlike your average gammon. And gammons - like yourself, I'm guessing - always seem to be angry about something.

I can certainly assure you I'm white, most definitely not overweight. As for being angry? Nope life is too short. Chin up.

Desperate. You're not claiming I'm racist are you? The usual smearing remark of the remainer.

Sorry, what?
Are you unaware the poster Das Reich (that's the name he chose for himself) has been banned in the past for racism, has his user name changed because of it's Nazi links and shares far right anti semitic Youtube channel's videos on here. And he's the guy you choose to chat about 'good people' with.
Don't know what the **** you're on about me claiming you're a racist, it's pretty clear what I wrote.

But why would you celebrate the most divisive time in this country in living memory?

What a complete and utter wet blanket berk you are. The divisiveness of the last few years, entirely caused by pricks like you who refused to accept a democratic decision to Leave, is not the thing being celebrated.
You must be devoid of common sense, completely self-absorbed and shockingly unable to take responsibility for your own supportive actions to believe it is the divisiveness being celebrated.
I wasn’t going out to celebrate anything on Friday, but the local is doing some promotions for expats and expect to bring in a few punters so I will probably tag along with the others. I will certainly raise a glass to toast the fact people like you were rightly defeated in their attempts to stop what was voted for being enacted and celebrate people like you have been put back in their cage and will toast that the real winner here from the last few years is the final acceptance of democracy.
We should all celebrate that……you no doubt will still be on here bitching about it happening with the last few loony extremists remaining on here who are making a laughing stock of themselves..

It needn't be if people of your ilk pulled together and got behind the country moving forward
No hard feelings eh

Well, Decidedly Fatuous
Over to you to elaborate on your mixed and meaningless metaphors......
You seem to be confused as to whether we are pulling or pushing.
'Tug of War' or 'rugby scrum'?
If we try to do both at the same time we will remain static.

You're skating on thin ice there, you might end up in hot water.

Too much information but thanks for taking the time out to entertain me and many others who think your dour hubris is rather premature. To clarify, I have no problem with any celebrations but do question individual people's motives at a time when a substantial number of people (close to half) regret the decision.
You seem to think democracy is putting people who offend your sensibilities into a cage! Have another think!
Enjoy your glass!

Face it pal, in the end Boris capitulated to the EU its the only way Brexit could get over the line.

Boris has divided these isles more than ever before, Nationalism never ends well

So where are you spending your Brexit celebration, with expats or did you mean experts?

A substantial number of people do not regret democracy winning the day. Quite the opposite.
Plenty of remainers even on here respected the decision to leave and accepted we should therefore leave. You never did. I suspect you do not speak for them at all even though you think you do.
When you are back in your cage dont forget to return to the sewer you emerged from.

Nothing wrong with benign nationalism.
Down the local with expats , not that bothered about it, but seems a good enough plan to start the weekend off with.
Might whoop the alleged local experts at cornhole again like tonight just to rub it in that the Team GB win was no fluke.

May I ask, why the expats/migrants not bothered about it?

The referendum is not a good example of democracy at work, the funding of misinformation, the targeting of voters at an individual level with misinformation, and the popular press pushing misinformation, combining to deliver a narrow majority on a major change for our country. It is an example of the frailty of democracy and how it can be usurped, and often is, with a lot of money.

Once again, your ill-informed rant is noted. Thanks for keeping it a bit shorter this time.
