Sadly the big operators have no inclination to roll out more broadband cabling unless given a very large incentive. locally, Virgin Media are using the old Nynex installed cable broadband along from Worthing to Brighton, they did not shell out to install the cable and their shareholders are happy, that's all they care about.

They are rolling out in major citys. Should've been a proviso for all suppliers to pool money to supply to the far to reach areas

For goodness sake, can some of you on this thread just GROW UP!

I don’t care whether you hate/love Johnson or hate/love Corbyn, voted leave or remain, if you can’t engage in debate without resorting to abuse, bullshit, racism and petty point scoring, then please go back to the playground and restart the lengthy process that leads to becoming an adult.

Really? I appreciate your sentiment - so show us the grown up way.....

Get real..... If it was 100,000 new Nurses would you be happy......then I tell you 75,000 leave each year......It`s more Nurses we want not necessarily New nurses

You are not arguing the case and changing the point.

They claimed 50000 new nurses. It was instantly exposed that they lumped in 19000 existing nurses. 31000 new, not 50000.

More nurses is good. It's just a shame that the Tories included it in an inflated stat.

You are unbelievable, Do you really think New nurses are what matters ?? I like most I`m sure believe it is Numbers of nurses that matters.

"I`m not arguing the case and changing the point" is nonsensical . I am arguing the point or you wouldn`t be disagreeing with me. and as you say I`m not changing the point .

off to bed so won`t read your no doubt considered opinion.

You claimed 31000 new nurses plus 19000 existing nurse equals 50000 new nurses. I pointed out that is 31000 new nurses.

Now you are arguing that it's not the number of new nurses, but how many there are in total. I agree that more nurses is better. But you have changed the argument away there being 50000 new nurses.

Not at all.

He has apologised now for antisemitism, so should have a free rein to bankrupt the nation.

I feel sorry for the new young voters who may think he is a lovely man just trying to help, a hard lesson to learn. We will end up having to revert to more austerity, probably 20 years this time.

I would suggest anyone looking to vote labour, do your homework first, Corbyn and McDonnell will be ten times worse than previous labour governments.

1. can`t make it plainer than "More than it can afford" 2. Taxes and borrowing.
Thats not how it works is it? The government develops a budget, then spendsthe money into the economy by clicking on a computer keyboard, to credit the central bank, then takes some of it back in taxes, then just throws the money away (or actually by pressing the delete key). It neither needs to tax or borrow since in the case of the UK, it can "print" its own money.
