From this list I'm going to give 10 Things That Scare Me a listen:-

https://www.vulture.com/article/best-podcasts-2019.html

Slightly related, is My Top Ten...

A very new, gently ramble-y, and quickly finding its feet podcast, featuring a comedian (I think) talking about other comedians' (definitely) top ten lists. The latest has Alex Horne (who I saw at The Hawth a few weeks ago and is now quite easily and simply my favourite human), and his top ten breakfasts. Episode number 3.

as 10cc say, not in hove
Great stuff. Hope you enjoy it. I'm up to the middle of the 7th century now (roughly pod 115ish). Fascinating stuff, and certainly kicks on brilliantly from the more documented Roman period. Every episode must take an age to research.

It's great, thanks for the tip. I'm on episode 28 now

The Ramble Meets - Perry Groves.
I'm halfway through now and currently enjoying a very entertaining trawl through his time at Colchester.

No but at the end of the month I'll be going to see one of my top 3 Podcasts recorded at one of my top 3 favourite (accessible) places, when Football Weekly play The Science Museum:-

'We've got this lads, it's only science'.

The Missing Crypto-Queen from the BBC is very good. It's a 'live' story, released weekly and updated as we go. Quite surprisingly gripping.

The recent RHLSTP with Richard Osman was brilliantly funny. That podcast always works best when the guest comes 'armed and dangerous'. A very witty match-up.

I think I've converted one or two of you over to The Rewatchables.
As the title suggests 3 colleagues re-watch a classic film then talk it through.

Well I'll hazard a guess this weeks film is right up our street:-

Reservoir Dogs.

I've given this a miss recently but sounds like the perfect time to get back in.

I had to listen to the Rob Rouse episode twice, I missed half of it first time round because I was laughing so loudly.

Between then and now they've also done Shawshank Redemption.

The presenter had his dad there as it's both their favourite film.
Pops was well up for it until 'nit-picks'.

As the other two went through all the little silly errors, in the film, Dad got quieter and quieter until you finally hear his little voice say 'I don't like this anymore, please stop'.

Looking at what they've done since I left, there's a lot of good stuff there - Field of Dreams? When Harry Met Sally, Dead Poets' Society? Yes sir-ee!

Yes.I have also been to RHLSTP and Guardian football podcast and am yet to be convinced live shows work. Podcasts some across much better than watching blokes sat in chairs talking.
