Why do people in rich countries deserve more opertunity than those from poorer countries?

Dont know, why do people in rich countries deserve more opportunity than people in poor countries?
Why not ask someone who has said people in rich countries deserve more opportunity than people in poor countries if you want to know the answer.
Dont pester me about something irrelevant ive got to converse with someone on the phone now who isnt crackers

this is just invoking a form of project fear on the other side. you can still have border controls and allow people the right to work anywhere. thats what we currently have with non-Schengen EU. whether the border controls work is another debate.

im more intruiged by Plooks' apparent contradictory position of wanting free movement of people and goods across the world, while remaining member of EU that restricts this to Europeans. has more in common with the likes of Liam Fox than realised.

Heard Amber Rudd on today programme saying she think May will get the votes for get deal in parliament.

Anyone think this is possible, will the Brextremists buckle on the pressure and in the end get owned?

article i have just read says the "Max Fac" technology for Irish border is back, cabinet agree with this as way forward, see what happens in Brussels. so perhaps. if she can fix the Ireland problem, DUP is brought back onboard and most the weight of the ERG objection is removed (they have other issues, but this is the one that carries political credibility). we may all be surprised.

Why should a person born in Paris not have the same rights to work as a person born in Birmingham? Answer that and maybe I could agree with you.
every country has the right to say who enters their country , that's one of the reasons why we're leaving the EU, we had no control and a large percentage of the population didn't like that , YOU REALLY NEED TO GET A REALITY CHECK , bye bye EU:bigwave:

It might take 2 attempts to do so in parliament but I'd go as far as to say I think it is now actually possible compared to last week.

A poll in The Times today shows only 39% of leave voters now want May to quit compared to 55% last week, The ERG and Rees-Mogg aren't anywhere near the force they thought they were and are just full of hot air, The DUP realise they're just a minority party who've been sold down the the river and things are out of their control now - the mood music has changed somewhat.

The EU described this early as magical thinking. Has there been a technological break thru or is she just pedaling fantasy again?

Of course the technology doesn't exist - she's just throwing a bone to The ERG and giving them a pat on the head and hoping they don't dribble all over her if they fall for it.

the technology exists, the Irish and Europeans have been talking about it. the "fantasy" element was about time to implement, and given an extended transition period that problem is solved.

THE SAME POLLS that said the remain vote was going to win the referendum ?

Its possible, I do think the biggest threat to Brexit happening at all is now the DUP and the Brextremists.

However, if the deal goes through this isn't the end of Brexit infighting in the Tory party, it will go on until the end of this parliament and a cliff edge Brexit is still possible but later. Brexit will continue to dominate British politics and delay action on real issues in the country that need addressing

If business thinks her deal creates certainty they need to think again, don't get fooled again!!!!

I think it will get through. Unless something else happens or becomes apparent before the vote, I think it will become sufficiently palatable to those currently against it to get a majority. MPs will be vociferously against this deal at the moment but will still vote for it at the time.

Tricky one for those MPs opposed.

Once they accept we are going, if they dig heels in and refuse to go with it, should we then end up totally f###ed with a NO DEAL then their constituents can and should hold them responsible.

Point me in the direction of The Irish Government saying this is viable?

I agree.

This Withdrawal Agreement may still not get through but it's no longer a non-runner at least as it was last week.
