Once again, I’ve never suggested he is.

As it happens, I think he has adopted a new and unique approach to the analysis of statistics, which appears to be reaping significant rewards in both the gambling and football markets.

It’s a simple point that you are all ignoring.

Let me put it another way, there are loads of companies making huge profits from gambling.

Who are their customers?

But where does Tony Bloom come into this?

Depends on their market. Starlizard’s customers are high net worth individuals able to risk a large amount of capital.

Just to be certain I emailed the club about this.

They confirmed that the only time we took money off the poor and stupid last season was tickets sales to visiting supporters for the cup game and league game vs Palace.

Think it all depends on if the company is taking the bets or placing them.

I was under the impression that Starlizard made it's money primarily through spread betting on a variety of sporting events with wagers easily in excess of £50k. Not exactly taking money off the poor & stupid!

So Star Lizard operate at a higher level than the poor and stupid, but you can’t see where the funds enter the gambling system that everyone is trying to win, comes from.

He hasn’t worked that out yet.....I’m sure he thinks Starlizard is a bookie rather than a (hi-tec, sophisticated) punter.

I can see him now an unlit rolly in the corner of his mouth, little blue pen him hand, scribbling down his 25p ew on trap 4, bemoaning Tony bloody Bloom taking all his money, while stood in William Hill.

You’ve read my post, clearly I’m not.

So you are saying the money comes from somewhere , and its the people who loose. Tony Bloom is on the other side of that as he wins enough to win, therefore he indirectly takes it of those who loose via the bookmakers.

If that is what you are saying then thats pathetic.

Ah but Starlizard aren't directly taking it off the "poor and stupid" are they? They are reducing the bookies profits.

So where does the cash that enters the betting market come into this?

What the f**k are you on about?

Sorry I'm going to have to be tagged out of this, it's far to stupid even for me, and I read BG's drivel.

Clearly you are incapable of basic comprehension.

If you are incapable of understanding money flow, then it’s not me that’s pathetic.

Tony Bloom stiffs Ladbrokes for a million quid because he spots something in their pricing where he thinks they’ve got it slightly wrong, and as a result 2000 kids on a council estate in Middlesbrough go hungry...........
